Dedicated to HMNZS Waikato & HMS Ark Royal Tribute

I first served on board Waikato from 1977-1979. I posted back to Waikato from 1988-1991 and the last time was 1996-1997. She was by far the best ship for me so I decided to start this post to remember a great ship, its crew or crews over the years.This is my way of preserving the ship and its history and I am honored to share this on MERT Worldwide

HMNZS Waikato was decommissioned from the Royal New Zealand Navy in 1998 and bought from the Government for $1. She was stripped in the Northland port of Opua and sunk off the coast of Tutukaka on 18 December 2000 as an artificial reef. In 2002
